The official start of slave labour

Aka the opening ceremony of the new school term, which was today, at 17 - and blessfully short. It was good to see the kiddies again, and some of the mothers came and expressed their regret that I'll retire soon; they said the kids would miss me. Well, I'd miss them, too, but I've had enough. (I didn't tell them that, of course).

Tomorrow I'll start with a nice, extra long afternoon shift. No idea how long, actually, as I'll begin at 11:30 and stay until the last kid has been taken home. Officially, we keep the kiddies until 16:00 on the first day, but when the parents don't come to take them, we can't leave them back alone. I've packed an extra large sewing kit for tomorrow and will work on my mini sewing kits; I've cut out the parts for 16 more kits, so I'll be busy with them for a while.

Forgot to mention: yesterday I actually finished Chapter 11 of my Dwobbit fic, but it isn't typed up yet. I hope do do it next weekend when I've got used to school again. *fingers crossed*

This is just the opening ceremony, which is always on Sunday so that the parents can participate.

Yeah, I know I had to correct the stupid html two times. Sometimes I forget how these codes follow each other.
