Dwarf story

I got my lazy rear in gear and posted the first chapter of the new story that the generous Lasse-Lanta just sent me back, cleaned out from grammar creativity. If you ever wondered what might have become of those "lesser" Rings made in Eregion before the Great ones were made, this story is for you.

It's called Visits in Eregion for now, but that might change (stupid title), and features so far Narvi, Celebrimbor, a couple of unimportant Dwarves and Angelimir the Sword-dancer.

Oooooohhh...... Finally! Somebody else has caught on to the beauty that is Celebrimbor and Narvi!! There are so many possibilities in their story, but I think you are only the third person to ever write about their friendship.

Very, very, very intriguing beginning. I can't wait for more! This is a story I will surely follow with bated breath.

Thank you. It means a lot to me, especially from someone as interested in Dwarves as you are. Celebrimbor and Narvi certainly have a lot of possibilities - even though this is strictly a friendship story. If everything goes as planned, this will have three more chapters. But I've several other Dwarf stories in planning. Let's hope we both live long enough to see them written. *g*

A new Dwarf-centric story is always welcome! This certainly sounds promising; there's lots of room to play in the Second Age, since the hostory Tolkien gave us of that period is so fragmentary.

Thanks. This is all Archet's fault, actually. She sent me all those wonderful pics of the Bellingarth Gardens, which shaped my whole view of Eregion. This story is practically a side product of the latest Innocence chapter - I was agonizing about Eregion and Erestor's family, and suddenly this thing was born. Plus, I was always interested in those "lesser" rings. And I wanted a dragon ring, just once. *g*
