It is, isn't it? Unfortunately, far beyond my abilities to copy. I might give the shaker globe a try but the piece-by-piece Christmas tree is dreadfully complicated.

Thanks. As I said to artemis10002000 below, I think the unnecessarily complicated tree in the middle can be replaced by a nicely decorated pine cone with nearly the same effect. Now if I only managed to get the shaker part right!

I agree that some projects seem to take on unnecessary and fussy bits for the sheer sake of it. Fingers crossed that your shaker works. :D

Oh yeah that Christmas tree looks like something that is more likely to end up a glue glob monster than what it looked like in the vid. They must have practiced so long for that. But it is a very nice vid.

Actually, I just got the revolutionary idea that the insanely complicated tree could be replaced by a well-shaped and decorated pine cone. It would actually look better, I think... well, almost.
