Vacation diary, Day 6

We're home, thank God, and found everything in order upon our return, which isn't entirely sure in these times.
In any case, the last half-day was nothing terribly interesting, save for the fact that we got caught in a quick and heavy rain and had to spend the last two hours at the railway station. Ah, well, we were dead on our feet anyway.
But I promised pictures, right. Well, let's start with our hotel, which is an old family business and very pretty, as you can see. The citation above Mum's head is from Goethe (yes, the famous poet) and says: "Life is too short to drink bad wine." Well, I don't drink any wine, myself, but I think
spikesgirl58 would agree. ;))

Another picture from within our hotel: it shows the wines they offer to the guests:

And the self-serving ice-cream bar where I gorged myself shamelessly:

This is an older photo and a rather small one, but I couldn't resist the turquoise cow. The shop is called "MU"; actually, it is a whole chain of Italian ice-cream shops.
I'll probably add more pictures to the previous entries, assuming I find them on my PC. *g*
