Both Mum and I are safely back now, for which I'm grateful. We had to change trains in Vienna on our way back because of some mechanical problems, but that was all.

Not yet! Another friend of mine who has been able to catch it on TV recommended it to me as well but I've been trying to remember it's on on Tuesday for weeks and just can't seem to - will have to watch it on streaming eventually.

Yeah, it took me more than half of a season to remember - I rarely watch Pro7 as it has abandoned its original direction and usually just brings horrible US sitcoms. I missed Defiance entirely the same way - another big, big mistake.

It is so promising, but when I discovered it, it was nearly over, and I couldn't really catch up with it in just one episode. :(

I don't know what streaming is, but I'm considering buying at least the first season on DVD, if Bestsellers (our only English bookshop) can get it for me.

So do I. When the current term dies, I'll probably be able to visit a few shops I like. They usually open at 10 am and I have to march off to work at 11, so it isn't always easy. Less so as 3 days a week I work till 5.30 and they close at 6 pm, and for the rest of my working days, when I finish at 4.30, I'm usually too dead to cross half the city, just to get to a bookshop or DIY shop or whatnot.

*nodnod* Yeah, that makes it difficult, absolutely. And just not fun when browsing these stores is just another chore to be done while you're in a hurry. Hopefully you'll have all the time for browsing during summer holidays.

As for Defiance, I've just found all 3 seasons online.

I intend to watch as much as I can on the computer screen and decide if it's worth spending money on them... beyond the chance of English subtitles, that is, which would make understanding so much easier.
