Theoretically, after having produced and given away 50+ felt Easter eggs, I swore that I won't even touch a needle for at least half a year. But then I learned that the (actually grown) son of a colleague was happy like a kid with his felt bunny, and since he fights heavy depressions and has an upcoming birthday, soon, I made this for him:

This is the final, gift-wrapped version. More pics of the little knight can be seen here:

I also did some paper crafting. Since I bought those very beautiful, very expensive Indian papers a week or two ago, I thought I ought to make something out of it and bring some joy into the life of another beloved colleague.

Beware the India-inspired Kerala box (with the lid closed):

And a look at the lid from above, just because it's so beautiful and I worked on it so hard:

Granted, it's not perfect; I'm just an amateur, without all the cool tools and make everything free hand, save for the use of a border puncher. The photos are fairly shitty, too - I don't have [livejournal.com profile] lindahoyland's blessed hand with a camera and use my iPad, most of the time. Still, I'm very proud of the results, and I hope the recipients will be happy, too.

More substandard photos about the box can bee seen here: *g*
