do you have a twitter? : No, and I don't intend to get one.
if so, what was the last thing you tweeted? : See above.
who was the last person you talked to on the phone? : Mum's best lady friend.
has it snowed recently where you live? : Yes, off and on for days now.
what gift would you love to receive? : Stuff for crafting. They are expensive. Oh, and paid LJ time, since I'm unable to get it from here.

what's the last thing you cooked on the stove? : Turkey ragout with noodles.
have you ever been to Australia? : no

who was the last person you know to have a birthday? : Mum
what's a musical instrument you think sounds really beautiful? : Church organs
do you play that instrument? : Used to play the piano, the guitar and two different flutes, but sucked at them all. Oh, and I learned to play the organ for a very short time.
do you have a favorite type of pasta? Käsespätzle. Sorry, there is only the German word for it. It's a special kind of pasta, eaten with grated Emmenthal cheese.
do you consider yourself religious? : I believe in God but had a fall-out with the institution Church after having spent years in a convent and as a parish employee, respectively.
how many times a day do you brush your teeth? : twice as a rule; more often if necessary
do you always use proper grammar? : I try to, but English grammar is a tricky thing for a non-native speaker. I'm better at German grammar. And my own language, of course.
what's the last play/musical you saw? : I can't remember. But we have a repertoire of Verdi choirs that we sing at special occasions - does it count?
who sent the last e-mail you got? : Heidi

what shoes did you wear today?: Heavy-duty Birkenstocks, as always when at work.

did you do anything to observe groundhog day?: No
what time do you usually go to bed?: Between 1 and 2 am.
do you ever use coloring books? : Not anymore. No time.
how do you feel about instrumental music? : Church organs are the peak of musical enjoyment.
are you wearing a necklace? : No. I used to, with a St Benedict medal, but it got caught on my birthmarks all the time and I thought it was too risky.
does it annoy you when you have a song stuck in your head... : It depends on the song, but yeah, it's usually annoying.
... but you don't remember the words? : As a rule, if I sing the song for me often enough, the words come back. Not always, though.
when was the last time you got a haircut? : Before Christmas.
are you planning on watching the olympics? : No. I find them boring.
do you pronounce the word often with or without a t in the middle?: Without, if I happen to remember the rule. With, if I mix it up with the German world oft, which means the same and has to be pronounced with a t.
