wiseheartI haven't typed up the stuff I wrote yesterday, after all. Mum felt a little ill - she says she felt the cold hit her when she got up in the morning; I say that sitting in a sleeveless dress and knee-high stockings half the afternoon yesterday was the reason (we never agree about these things) - so I had to play housewife.
I made some Chinese-inspired stir fry (chicken with soy sauce, onions and garlic) with rice and a salad, and baked raisin-cinnamon buns. (See the latter here: https://hu.pinterest.com/pin/341640321726838692/). Add some more writing, shopping for groceries in the morning and watching some telly, and the day is basically over.
Ah, well, tomorrow is another day. And besides, I need to watch old re-runs of The Great British Bake Off tonight!
Oh, and before I forget: does anyone else hate the constant changes of Firefox as much as I do? They brag how much faster and better it is now, but it's actually slower, and I particularly hate the new Tab page. The old tabs were pretty, large (important for someone with weak eyesight) and easily recognizable. The new ones are the exact opposite of all that. Grrrr! If I hadn't hundreds of links saved there, I would seriously consider returning to IE!
