Just some everyday stuff

wiseheartThe week is almost over, and it seems to me as if I'd been back to school for Ages. Afternoon shift is an unpleasant thing, and I've been done it for years by now. I really can't wait for retirement, I'm so incredibly fed up with the whole things.
Save the kids, that is. Them, I still enjoy, and they were so very sweet, overjoyed to have me back after a week and a half; even the parents came and told me how glad they were that I was back. We didn't do much this week, as many of the kiddies are ill - the flu is going around like whoa! - but I got them interested in crossword puzzles, which is good for brainpower and vocabulary, and they like to do the puzzles in small groups.
Tomorrow - well, today, seeing that it's past midnight - we're having the carnival at school, which means that we'll be there beyond 7 pm. I'm decidedly too old for this sh*t and hope that this will be the last such event I'm forced to partake.
My iPad still isn't back, and I'm currently having problems with the phone company. I'll try to phone them tomorrow again, as I miserably failed to do things online, as always. I don't understand; we are always told how much easier this thing is, but whenever I really want to get anything done, I'm forced to hang on the landline for hours, until I get to talk to some administrator. Gah, I hate this!
Okay, I think it's high time to go to sleep before I fall flat on my face over the keyboard.
