wiseheartGeez, is it Wednesday again? I'm so behind schedule with everything it isn't even funny! Anyway, I promised a few pics about the Christmas fair in Linz for those not on Pinterest, and I intend to keep my promise. Stuff is behind the tag; I don't want to bring your Friends page to a crash.
The entrance of the Volksgarten Fair:
The Pretzel shop:
Heidi (my cousin's wife) with Santa:
The great Christmas pyramid, also serving as a stall for mulled wine & co:
Handmade candles:
An ironsmith, working in his open-air smithy:
The ironsmith's wares (sorry, the photo isn't sharp enough, but I thought it might be interesting anyway):
Woodworker's workshop for children (you can see a kid turning wood through the far left window):
Wooden Bethlehem parts (you can select the ones you like best and build your own Nativity scene as you want):
Chocolate tools (no, really, everything you see here is made of chocolate):
And so are these, including the water taps:
Der Nusskönig shop, selling all sorts of sugared and roasted nuts:
And, last but not least, yours truly in front of the 90-year-old Jindrak Café:
