Tomorrow, we're going to have our annual charity fair at school. In the recent years I always had my own booth, selling things we made with the kids, as you can see here:

However, last year's bad experiences motivated me not to have a booth of my own this time. I took upon me to help out a few colleagues who had too much work with the actual teaching to do any crafting with their classes, and so we made the bookmarks with the fifth-term-class that I've showed a couple of entries previously. I also made Christmas journals with a seventh-term-class yesterday. There will be pics, eventually, at least about the ones that I made myself.

On Friday, I'll make Christmas candies with my fifth-term-group, and on Monday we'll bake chocolate-peanut cookies with the same seventh-term class. They are nice kids, both groups, so I hope it will go well. I'm tragically behind schedule with my own baking, but this year's Advent time is so frustratingly short!

And I still don't know what to give Mum for Christmas, now that our shared trip fell into water due to her illness. *sigh*

Give your Mum either something warm or something completely frivolous, that's pretty much how I do gift giving at Christmas :)

Those kids do nice work! Are you sharing a booth with the other teachers this time or is there some other arrangement? It must be time consuming to set up and man.

I didn't have a booth at all this year. I didn't participate in any other way than helping out in two classes with the craft projects.

You aren't alone - I always struggle on what to get my mom - I still don't know what I am going to do.

Neither do I, unfortunately. That's why I wanted to take her to Vienna; giving some nice experience is the best thing to do. But it's just not possible when she can't leave the flat. :(

It is always a problem, finding the right gifts for everyone. I am sure you will find a good gift.

Your word in God's ear.

By the way, thank you for your Christmas gift, it has arrived in the middle of the week, I just didn't get around to tell you. My apologies. Also, yours will most likely only arrive in the new year, as I haven't managed to get to the post office yet. It is very hard to get anything dealt with when one is permanently working in the afternoon shift. So sorry. :(

It is good to hear that it arrived. That makes me happy.

It is all right, you have a lot to do and the day only has 24 hours for all of us, even if some extra hours one day would be nice.
