Remember our long odyssey about the balcony last year? Well, it's not over yet, apparently. After almost a year without problems, the dratted balcony is leaking again. It seems we'll have to hire an industrial alpinist to seal the whole thing from the outside, if we don't want the walls to rot, eventually. Just what we needed.

In my despair over life in general, I actually made up my mind and posted Chapter 39 of "The Toreador Chronicles" to AO3. I fully expect the B/J fans, in case they still exist, to tear me in pieces. Well, at least one can delete all kinds of reviews on AO3.

Big hugs. I feel for you, I had a lot of issues with a bay window a few years back.

Thanks. Sometimes a house - or part of it - seems to be conspiring against its inhabitants. I just don't understand why it's happening now. We had almost a whole year, with lots of heavy rain and storms, and everything was just fine... until now. *sigh*

I hope the sealing from the outside will work. I don't even mind the money, although it promises to be costly, I just want the dratted thing fixed!

It is, isn't it? Like your satellite dish used to be a few years back.
