Relieved sigh

I've written the mid-term certificated. All of them, within an hour. Only made one mistake, and even that is fairly insignificant.
I've made the stupid statistics, though I don't know how many mistakes I made in those ones. Not that it counts, but I do have a certain professional pride.
I've finished all the paperwork that goes with closing up things at mid-term (or is that first term?), and my classbook looks presentable. Save from the entries of one moron colleague who at the age of fifty-something still hasn't acquired the high art of proper handwriting. But since he litter the classbook of all other classes, too, I'm not particularly worried.
I've typed up the first chapter of the new story. I wonder how Ro would like it. :))
Innocence is still coming very slowly, but I'm making some headway.
Little luck with finding some good descriptions and/or pics about the enterieurs of medieval noblehouses - the only thing that hinders me in finishing Chapter 2 of The Exercise of Vital Powers. One lousy paragraph or two, and I can't do it. Drat!
I'd like to write some fun stuff for a change. Like, some more of The Joys of a Beard, so that Finch can get in touch with her inner fangirl again. *g* But funny stuff doesn't seem to come to me nowadays. As if school would kill my sense of humour.
Ah, well, it was still a productive day. Though the new curriculum is even worse than the former one was. My teaching hours are even more scattered, meaning that I have even less time for other things.

Date: 2004-01-27 03:32 pm (UTC)At least I can use the older scripts in HoME for some truly hilarious things. Like Legolas being knocked down and crawling on his hands and feet. That poor Elf! But I'll let Gimli save him! And I think I'll put that movie!Troll into it. It was so stupid that it literally hurt me to watch.
