I make no promises about a video just yet - for that, I'll need help from someone half my age - but there are a few photos. Not the best ones, because I made them with my iPad, edited them on my main PC and sometimes they just aren't sharp enough, but, well, here they are.

The cover:

And a few glimpses inside:

The photos would be magnitudes better if the Pinterest app wouldn't act up 90% of the time and would let me upload directly from the iPad... which would be its actual purpose. Unfortunately, it doesn't. So I have to mail the pics to myself, enlarge them on my main PC by 100 % - which is the reason they aren't sharp enough - and upload them via internet. It's really tedious.

Also, I apparently no longer can pin YouTube videos to Pinterest, unless I get their upload button. You can only get the dratted upload button if you use Google Chrome. Which I don't. Screw them, why must they always "improve" things that don't need improvement?

I also started a new (and hopefully short) felt project. Three of my young colleagues are getting married this summer, and I decided to make bride plushies for them. The first one is almost finished, so I tentatively hope to be done just in time. It is great fun, but a lot of detail work. Photos will be posted when I'm done.

Thank you, but the truth is I don't really want a third browser. I just find it bloody annoying that they constantly change things and make my life more complicated.

Oh, that uploading sounds tedious! I do have the Pinterest button on Mozilla Firefox, but I've had it for years. I might be running an old version of the add-on.

As for the book itself, that looks gorgeous! So much work, so many details...

How did binding go? Did I miss a post about that?

No, you didn't. It went fairly well, it was just really hard work, as I used thick cardboard for both the inner and the outer cover, so I had to fight with it a bit.

Good to hear! So that's a method you can keep working with then, even if it's kind of a pain?

It is. But I'm giving the envelope journal a try, too. I've just bought six envelopes, in beige and pale green, next I need the cards, and then I'll heroically attack the task. *g*

Thank you. There's lots of room upwards, but for a first try it isn't too bad, I think.
