I remember those times when I used to have actual weekends

They seem to be gone. Nowadays, even the weekends get eaten either by work or by household issues. Yesterday, we had the big cleaning project after the balcony melodrama. Well, the first part of it. The windows are still due to be cleaned next Saturday. See what I mean?

Today, we had an appointment with the chiropodist. At 1pm. Which means the whole day went down the toilet, 'cause I had to do the shopping for groceries in the morning and the chiropodist was here half the afternoon. I got nothing meaningful done, save for a few paper angels I'd promised to someone.

I did a bit of descriptions of people and places for the Sherlock AU and thought about casting, but that's about it. Never in my life did I have such an unproductive streak writing-wise. It's frustrating beyond measure!

So, casting so far (save for the Sherlock regulars, that is):

Harry Watson: Emilia Fox
Clara, Harry's ex-wife: Emily Blunt
Bill Murray: Colm Meaney (in his younger years)

The Banker: Peter Davidson
The Real Estate Agent: David Tennant
His PA: Catherine Tate
Mrs Holding (aka Mrs Hudson's sister): Geraldine McEwan
Mrs Ponsonby (aunt of the real estate agent): Paula Jacobs
Mrs Parker-Smythe: Patricia Greene
Justin Parker (her great-nephew): Bradley James (tentatively, still a subject of change)
The Policeman (aka DS Bradstreet): Christopher Eccleston
Kate (his daughter): Katie McGrath
The Pizza Man: Colin Morgan (tentatively, still a subject of change)

The Zombie Worker: Dominic Monaghan
Mr Reno: John Barrowman (tentatively; still the subject of change)

Basically, these are the main characters at the moment. I expect a lot more to show up as the story goes on. They always do.

*hugs* So much going on for you, but at least the balcony is finally done. Hopefully things will calm down before the holidays!
