On a different note, there has been some development in the balcony renovation melodrama, but we're still not done. I'm sick and tired of it.

WTF still balcony drama?! What are they doing now? Shouldn't this have been done weeks ago? When my balcony was renovated it took two days!

But the crafting is gorgeous, the balls are my favs.

What are they doing now?

That is a question we keep asking ourselves since November 4. *sigh*

Auf Deutsch, weil mir die englischen Ausdrücke fehlen: sie haben die Jalousien montiert (Mutti ist nicht wirklich glücklich with denen, either), die Wälle (insgesamt etwa 20 qm, inclusive Decke) dreimal gespachtelt (frag mich nicht warum dreimal, ich glaube der Eine wußte nicht, daß der Andere schon zweimal dran war), den Leck hoffentlich abgedichtet (obwohl der Kerl nicht sicher war, wo das Wasser eigentlich reinkam), und nun warten wir darauf, daß sie endlich die Wände streichen. Zwischen den verschiedenen Arbeitsphasen vergehen immer mehrere Tage, sie speisen uns mit Versprechungen ab, die sie nie einhalten, und sie ständig vergessen uns Bescheid zu sagen, wenn sie doch nicht kommen.

Na super... Das erinnert mich an die Experten, die bei uns den Fahrstuhl repariert haben. Eine Woche kamen sie, die eine Hälfte der Fahrstuhltüre anstreichen, die andere Hälfte machten sie ertst die Woche drauf...

Hört sich wirklich nervtötend an, ich hoffe dass es jetzt wirklich bald fertig ist. Bei mir musste auch gespachtelt werden, das wurde an einem Tag gemacht, dann am anderen gestrichen. Auch wenn es jetzt nass ist und länger dauert, aber all diese Wochen...
Und mit dem Leck, das hört sich an, als ob da noch was kommen wird.

There is a contract. Unfortunately, it only puts down which works need to be done, not a deadline. It seems we can't hope for the shit to be cleaned up until the end of this week, either. Considering that they have about one hour or two of work left, it's getting beyond ridiculous. Mum's completely resigned, and my nerves are run down to the ground.
