Thank you, I had a lovely birthday! I generally have a hard time around my birthday, since my spouse died, so this year I made an extra effort to try and move past that.
I took off for a week and went to Tasmania, our island state. It was wonderful.
Of special note is a huge art gallery, MONA, the museum of old and new art. An extraordinary experience, it is multi-storied and entirely underground. You start out descending hundreds of stairs, and then the huge gallery gradually spirals up in a labyrinthian progression. It is truly amazing, a transformative experience. But So Many Stairs! My knees felt like they were dying! You can take elevators, but I wanted to do the whole MONA experience. So glad I went!

It must have been fantastic, even though hard on the knees. Mine aren't what they used to be, either, so I can relate. I'm glad that you had a good birthday!
