Gone for some pico fun

No, I'm still here, but mostly spending my LJ time over at picowrimo, where we're in summer session for the next two months. Or winter session, if you're from Australia or New Zealand. In any case, pico session is fun time, there are wonderful story snippets to read - come over and take a look, even if you don't want to participate.

I actually might finish An Excellent Mystery during pico time- *fingers crossed*

Oh, pico season is always fun! Once you're done with your studies and have returned to writing, you should give it a try. We have two session a year, one in November, the other one in June/July - of course, for me the summer season is more practical, with holidays and stuff.

Yes, summer is certainly the better fit for you.

I have been tiptoeing back into fic writing this year and man it makes me miss the days when I could muster the energy/motivation to tackle novel-length fics. They are just satisfying on a wholly different level than one-shots to me. But these days shorter multi-chapters are the most I can manage without feeling overwhelmed. Alas...

I've been exclusively pandering to my new love with Star Wars fic this year. With um, a little bit of Dominion and Supernatural last year, I think? Well, the Dominion was new, SPN might have just been old stuff I found in my fic folder, I can't remember.

I enjoy editing for you and will happily edit any gen fic you want doing for Holmes, Startrek, LOTR or any other fandom I know about just as long as I can take my time.
