FF.Net eats reviews - again

I really wish they could iron out this recurring bug for good. I got five(!) reviews for the first chapter of Enterprise - the Maiden Voyage, which is more than I sometimes get for a multi-chapter story, and they simply don't show up on the review board. Their number is listed in the story properties, but when I click at it, a No Reivews Found message shows up.

At least they have been e-mailed to me, together with disthrainsdotte's lovely review to An Excellent Mystery and the one belladonnasmom wrote to Sleeping Dragons 5, but none of them is actually visible.

It is unfair! Finally a bunch of nice, lovely, supportive reviews, and nobody else can see them!

Edit: It seems they have ironed out the bug for now. Let's hope it will last.

Edit#2: The bug is back. It ate another 3 very nice reviews. Argggggggh!!!

That happened to me as well and I sent ff.net a email about it. They are 'working' on it and will hopefully be able to restore the reviews. here's hoping!

I sent a report in about this two days ago and it's still not fixed. I have about 5 days worth of reviews to reply to, it's going to take forever. They really do need to sort it out permanently because otherwise, people are going to stop reviewing and/or posting to the site.

Considering that it's a recurring problem, they should know by now how to fix it. I don't have a large following like you do (not even most of my friends bother to read my stories, unfortunately), so losing the few nice reviews I get is particularly disappointing.

They really should, and they should pay better attention to people letting them know it's happening again. I'm sure I can't be the only person who's contacted them.

The reviews are there even if they're not accessible right now. You'll get them eventually, as soon as the problem is fixed! I have three regular reviewers on ff.net and a couple of occasional ones, so I guess I am pretty lucky and should be more appreciative.

I seldom have a chance to read these days. Between all my appointments and all my writing, plus the things I have to do, there never seems to be time. I keep saying I'll take a day off here and there just to read, but I never do because there's always another challenge due. I feel driven to write so reading is an occasional luxury. One day maybe I'll find time for all the fics I want to read.
