I could have finished Brothers-in-Arms today. In theory. But in the morning I had to go to my workplace, where we had a seminar to learn how to deal with the completely digitalized administration that will come with September. It will need some getting used to, and I had weird reminiscences to Big Brother, but once we get the hang on it, some of our work might even be easier. [crosses fingers]

Then Mum and I had to go and have our new EU healths cards made, as we go to Austria in two weeks. Which was quick and easy, in itself - after we found the new place where the office had moved behind our backs. There was a moment I thought we'd fall over dead before reaching the dratted office.

Then we had to do the shopping, because the fridge was empty, and it was early afternoon when we got home. At which time I no more felt up to deal with Cuhelyn & Co and decided to do some felt work instead. You can see it on my Pinterest board, together with pictures about the needle-felted sheep that looks like a shagy dog. *g*

But no, I haven't written a word, and it's unlikely that I would during the rest of the day.

It seems to me you had quite enough in your day already! No sense in pushing yourself further -- you'll get back to the story, I'm sure!

Oh, I attacked it with all due brutality this morning and forced it to an end. It's probably rubbish but it's done and that's what counts. A shame, though, it used to be one of my favourites. But, like Terminus, it ended up as one of those tales that have more chapters than reviews. *sigh*

I had to laugh! It took me *three* trips to Harvard Square to find the US Post Office there so I could submit my passport for renewal because it's tucked into an odd little spot. In both my previous tries, I had been on the same block, but didn't step into the right nook...

It is not easy, to find your way in the jungle of bureaucracy!
