Writing woes

I really wish I could learn to work on one story at a time, exclusively. Instead, I am currently writing Terminus (my canon-compliant TNG fic), the regularly scheduled next part of Torchwoodgate, the Omegaverse Torchwoodgate story that isn't due for a long time yet but I got inspired, I was bitten by an Enterprise AU plotbunny, of all things, an theoretically still have Kansas 2 on my list.

Why has my brain to work so irrationally?

It might be irrational but you can't argue with the results.
okay, maybe _you_ can but we, the readers, certainly can't :)

Plot bunnies having plot bunnies! Definitely a problem. ^_^

I know, I know... *insert rueful face*
That particular story lies heavily on my conscience. Unfortunately, it would need some serious rewriting before I could even think of adding a few more chapters to the rather abrupt ending, and my Cadfael muse hasn't been talking to me for quite some time. Sigh.

that muse is over at my place - I'll send it back soon since my imagination already has the 9th Doctor showing up & meeting Cadfael who tells him about the 2 strangers. As they get near Ianto's work?/residence?, they overhear Gwen complaining at length and finally saying something that angers Ianto enough that he throws her out, declaring the two of them are now strangers and Gwen's on her own. After 9th meets Ianto, 9th leaves & 10 shows up a few minutes later (too keep the timelines straight)...Muse is having difficulty deciding if the Doctor takes Gwen back to 21st Century or not.

Interesting idea - somebody definitely ought to write it. However, I've got much worse in planning for the Gwenninator. I know what's going to happen, I just don't seem to be able to get my act together and finally write it.

Of course, all the other stuff I'm juggling with simultaneously doesn't help...

I don't know why it works like that, but mine seems to as well - I've been determined that I'm going to make more progress on the Firiel stories, but instead have bits and pieces of a lot of things, none of which I am sure are going anywhere....
