I've posted the last part of "Adventures", Chapter 5 - The Serpent's Lair to the 13th_sherlock DW comm. This is the same part that has already been posted to FF.Net (perhaps with a few typos less, as I managed to pick them out while hand-coding), as I was in delay with the DW version.

The first part of the new Interlude will be posted next week to both places, so that they will be in alignment with each other again.

Watched the Silurian stories of Dr Who today. My boxed edition contains both the old 3rd Doctor story and the two 11th Doctor episodes. I liked them both. Sure, the old monsters in the rubber suits are a bit laughable for today's standards, but the story itself was still very good, including the acting and the characterization; and the actors of the olden days articulated much better, which is a plus for a non-native speaker.

The new Silurians are beautiful and their underground city is stunning. Amazing what today's technology can do, although in 20 years' time it will probably count every bit as outdated as the rubber monsters are now. The plot was reasonably interesting, too, although I'm not as impressed with all this 11th Doctor mysticism as Steven Moffat probably would expect me to be. Still, I'll perhaps order the new version of Zygons as well. I expect Bestsellers will be able to get me newer stuff without problems.

Also, I unearthed another angel motif for my Christmas cards. It's very spectacular, but I expect it to be hard to make: all those intersecting vectors in various angles that always make me lost count and have to redo the whole thing several times. As work is about to restart tomorrow, I think I'll be on this one for weeks.
