Anyone else hates LJ's changes?

Yes!!! I wanted to edit something the other day and I couldn't figure out where the edit button was. Fortunately, I had a couple tabs open and one of them was still in the old style. Argh!!!

Yes! Thought it was just me they were persecuting. I was just barely getting a handle on the old site (still not sure of how to do some updates/changes). Now this new " changed look " site pops up, I keep checking to make sure it's still LJ. And, probably my paranoia speaking, but, I'm blaming them for the fact that within the past week, some of my entries, when I click on my favorite authors, do not show up in my daily favorites file listings. Oh well, I'll figure it out eventually.

It's horrible.
The worst is that I had the chance to go back to the old version but the link to do so is now gone. I'm stuck with this 'new coke' version.

No, you're not. Try the right end of the menu bar, the message advertising the "wonderful" new changes will appear eventually, and there's the link you can hit to get back to the old version.

Thans! I'll have to give it a try when I am on my PC. The iPad refuses to show the envelope icon.

Update: no envelope icon on Firefox either, but I kept hitting the end of the menu bar until a message appeared and offered me the choice to switch back to the old version.

Yes - I hate it too. It is very confusing and hard to read (as well as seeming even more laggy than usual)

Try hitting the right end of te menu bar. If you're lucky, a message will appear, telling you how great the new look is, but it also offers you the choice to switch back to the old version!

I appreciate what they are trying to do - make it look cleaner, but (in the typical LJ way) they have botched the execution :(

Honestly, I don't find that great empty areas would make it look cleaner. Thy just make it look - empty. And finding the features you need is near impossible.
