In case no-one has noticed in he previous post, which, sadly, seems to be the case, I've just finished the current story arc of "Adventures" with the 20th chapter, so the weekly updates are secured till the bitter end. Even if I'll need a little rest before I attack the Whoniverse version of "The Big Game".

However, I've more or less planned out the second Interlude, which is going to be a (relatively) short detour into the world of Classic!Who, focused on Molly Hooper. I also developed the whole series'concept in more detail and now I have a clearer picture about how it's going to end.

There are a few important factors about which I still couldn't make up my mind - Mary's fate, for starters - but all in all, it's getting a recognizable shape, which is good.

Speaking of Dr Who, I've just watched the 50th anniversary special a few days ago, and had some great, evil fun with a small detail. When I started "Adventures", a nitpicking know-it-all condescendingly pointed out my so-called common mistake, i.e. that the last regeneration of the Doctor should be 14, not 13, cause he can regenerate 13 times, plus his first life, also 14 lives all in all. Now, adding the forgotten regeneration without a number, Moftiss have canonized my version. Hah!

Thanks. I've finished the second part of the Interlude, so I'll have to post something for the next 14 weeks regularly, even if I get blocked a bit for a while - hopefully, I won't.

That's probably the best part of it. I really hate people who only ever review to point out mistakes - real or imaginary ones, which is fairly often the case, I do my homework; I wish my so-called critics would do, so, before they start lecturing me.

but if they took the time to do the research they wouldn't have the time to be correcting everyone.... ;P

I am SO impressed with your discipline and your ability to spin whole new stories from the threads of others' stories! I don't know the 'verse at all -- I last saw "Dr. Who" regularly in my teens when Jon Pertwee was the Doctor and we were living overseas -- but you clearly do. After all, how many people get the canon right before the canon has been set? Go you!!!
