Stories I'm currently working on
Oct. 14th, 2013 06:59 pmWell,
picowrimo is dawning on the horizon, so it's time to list up all the WIPs that might get a chance due to the inspiring atmosphere of the November session.
The Adventures of a Consulting Time Lord - the story in which Sherlock is the 13th Doctor and Anthea is an android - has reached its 60th part and the end of its current plotline. 10 parts of the next installment are already written, but it will need at least five more (carefully estimated) to finish it. Still, it is a possibility.
Sherlock & the Illustrious Client is finished. This is a completely canon-compliant story, consisting of 21 parts, 14 of which are already posted and the rest going up on a weekly basis. No need to work on that one, thank God!
Emissary of the Mark, also known as "How Elfhelm Went to Rhun, Saved the Day and Got the Girl", a seven-year-old sucker, has just spawned another chapter, but I still hope it will be done with the 16th one. Currently posted: 13 chapters.
The Neutral Zone, a canon-compliant Star Trek - TNG story, has taken a turn that would make it a multichapter monstrosity, I'm afraid. Chapter 05 is nearly finished, but I don't keep my hopes high that the story itself would wind down any time soon. Not in the originally planned 6 or 7 chapters in any case.
Precious Like Rubies, my Sherlock BBC/Miss Marple crossover, is taking shape very slowly. 5 chapters are posted, parts of Chapter 6 and Chapter 8 are written, but I must somehow work in some very important stuff in Chapter 7, which I haven't got a clue how, so... it will take time.
Brothers-in-Arms, my only Cadfaelfic currently under work, has come to a halt at Chapter 9 again. Which is a shame, because I should be able to finish it in another 4 or 5 chapters, but my Cadfael muse seems to be on strike. Or on vacation. *sigh*
If You Wish Upon A Dwobbit, my 99% canon-compliant "Hobbit" fic has currently 8 posted chapters, the 9th one half-written. This is another one of those ungodly long stories, but I'd like to finish Chapter 9, soon, at the very least.
These are the stories that can come under consideration for
picowrimo. I have dozens of other unfinished WIPs, of course, and unnumbered story ideas that only exist in roughly sketched notes, but those will have to wait.
