Blasted Yahell!

I'm. So. Angry. With their stupid changes! Yahoo Groups was the best place to store stuff you needed - once before LJ and all the other forums it was also the place of great discussions. Now it's completely useless.

Someone over at Axe & Bow says that they most likely want to get rid of all fangroups, and I'm afraid it's a distinct possibility. They got rid of Geocities as well, "generously" offering everyone to get themselves one of their paid websites. I have the feeling that something similar will happen with Yahoo Groups, too. They'll shut down your group, unless you're willing to pay them big bucks.

Which is their right, I guess, but the decent thing to do would have been to give proper warning well in advance, so that people could save the stuff they want to keep.

I hate them!

Dropbox and Google drive are great for storing stuff and what I use. if you want to try either and need any help just mail me. I hate the way they keep changing stuff!

Yeah, so do I. They always try to service the youngest generation, as if we weren't the ones with the capability of paying. Well, not for Yahoo Groups - not yet, anyway - but if they expect people to give them money, they should listen to them occasionally, too.

I might return to your generous offer when school insanity gets a smoother flow. Thank you.
