Busy muses

Geez, but my muses are busy! I've actually finished the first part of the Edhellond group's - admittedly belated - birthday fic. Features Imrahil visiting Edhellond for one last time, before Gildor sails to Valinor.

My, what a melancholy piece! I'm really curious how the Edhellond crowd would like it. As I have no idea whatsoever how to continue, I hope there will be some suggestions. Or wishes for character appearance, just as we have done with the Silmfics people last year, when I wrote "Twisted Paths of Fate". That was great fun!

I loved the story so far; looking forward to more. I tried looking for covert references to Gildor, but there are so many OVERT references to him, I guess I must have missed them! Eeep! :-)

I adore Gildor. I want to put a scene in Dark Leaf with him playing chess with Legolas... Elven version, tho, which everyone seems to call "The Battle Game"... could you ask His Golden Adorableness if he plays chess? :-) And if he minds conversing over a long game with an Elfling who has been seriously messed with? :-)

Nah, the covert references for Gildor were not in the bday piece but in "The Face of the Enemy", which is posted on ff.net to your reading pleasure (once you've written that thingy you are working on right now).

As for playing The Battle Game, I think Gildor would love it. Even with an Elfling. He's not such a bad guy, you know, he's just disappointed and unhappy. I wonder where he has it from?
