We do. It is tiring sometimes, but so far we had reasonably good weather, saw a baroque procession at Schloss Hof, complete with costumes and small carriages pulled by white donkeys, camels and stuff, and also the old smithy with original equipment - very Dwarvish! I will post a few photos upon return.

So far it has been wonderful. I could have spent a fortune on Hobbit-related books (mostly about the film and general background info), but it is all in German, so I managed to withstand... for the time being. Despite speaking a much better German than my English could ever become, I prefer my fandoms in the original language. And I hate the German version of Tolkienverse names and terms. But it was a hard battle. The books are amazingly beautiful, so I might still give in.

I saw lovely things (see reply a little higher up) and we bought AAA (=Amazing Amounts of Chocolate) at Heindl`s, Hofbaur`s and Manner`s. The first half of Merlins Season 5 came out, but the second half isn`t going to come until May 10 - when I won`t be here anymore. Speak about lousy timing. But otherwise, it`s good. I bought the last season of Tour of Duty, which is one of the few things Mum and I both love and always watch together, half a season of Star Trek Classic, and I even found Season 1 of Poltergeist - The Legacy, which I was looking for at least for a decade. So it has already been a good trip.

Oh, I do! Believe me, I do. Our generous hosts even let me use their computer, so I can reach you guys through the aether, isn`t it cool?
You can see the results of the first two days in various replies above, so yes, it was a good trip. Still no luck with the Sherlock Casebook, though, they didn`t even have it in storage at Thalia, and they don`t deliver to Hungary anyway. Ah, well, one cannot have everything, I guess. It is annoying, but not a tragedy.

We're doing fine; Larissa will be celebrating her 21st birthday soon and I'm preparing for an invasion of students on this memorable occasion. Valerie is busy writing her masters thesis. And I've just translated Tolkien's next posthumous book, The Fall of Arthur, into Dutch.
