wiseheartPart 74 - Rubbing Shoulders With the Police of "The Adventures of a Consulting Time Lord" has been posted to FF.Net and the 13th_sherlock DW community. A bit of a filler chapter, a combination of the canon scene from the unaired pilot and the actual first episode, shown from John's POV. sammydragoncat and jenn_calaelen are most forgiving, so I think I can leave it as it is.
I do wonder though why my few other readers seem to have abandoned me. Has my writing really gone down the gully so much or did they only humour me for a while for some unknown reason? I'd understand if they had left our respective fandoms, but they seem still to read, comment and recommend other people's stuff.
Ah, well, it's nothing really new. Happens to me all the time. It's still depressing, though. :(
