Apparently, the muse decided that it was time to pick up "Alternate Resolutions", one of my Voyager stories. I had other plans, but who am I to argue with the muse when she's actually cooperating for a change?

This is one of those stories where I have a fairly definite idea what's going to happen, so I might actually finish it one day. I was just waiting for inspiraation. Wish me luck.

Hopefully your muse will be cooperative, and keep giving you inspiration.

Amen. I'd be ridiculously grateful if I could finish this story in decent time.

Good luck! I used to love watching Voyager and my first stories were for that fandom.

Really? It's nice to know that we've got another shared fandom. :)

For me, Voyager was the show of missed opportunities. It started off so well and it became so dull and predictable so fast. What I mourn most is how Janeway's character got mangled more and more with each new season.

Do you know the website "Get critical?" They've got a wonderful analysis to each episode (even though I don't always agree with their conclusions), and they clearly show how the reviewers' original enthusiasm slowly but steadily eroded and gave space to disappointment. That was exactly what happened to me, too.

Which is why I started writing Voyager fic. I felt the burning need to fix a few things. *g*
