I've just posted my first two works to AO3. I got invited by the generous [livejournal.com profile] songfire3 some time ago but didn't get around to actually post anything.

I've put up two of my one-shots, "Girl Talk" and "Morgana Watches" in the Torchwood and Merlin fandoms, respectively. Using the archive will require some getting used to - unfortunately, stupid FF.Net won't allow imports anymore, so I'll be at it for years, I'm afraid. But at least I'll be able to put up some stuff I couldn't post to the Pit of Voles, out of fear that my account would be yanked.

I think I'll post all my one-shots first. I've got a holy fear from the multi-chapter stuff. *shudders*

Yay :)
You should be able to import anything you've got posted on lj/dw (and that isn't friendslock), so that might help for some of it. :)

I know how most of the AO3 things there work, so can answer questions if you need help :)

Oh, I think I'll be begging at your doorstep more often than it's decent. *g*
You know how nonexistent my web skills are.

Brava! And good luck with all the transferring. I just updated my LJ index and it took me hours. It seems I'd forgotten half the necessary code and had to relearn it!! Done now though. Supposedly, this is all good for our brains. :-) Hope you have fun on AO3. It has many useful features.

Right now I find it a bit confusing, but again, I'm not very good at this web business. Used to FF.Net, which is a very simple thing to use. *sighs*

I've put up two other one-shots and even got a comment, so probably haven't messed up anything so far. But God, it's tedious.
