I baked 4 different kinds of cookies yesterday: chocolate chip cookies, nougat crescents, hazelnut hearts and chocolate-almond stars. I'm giving you the last recipe here and will type up the others later. Too tired at the moment.
Ingredients:
1 eggwhite
100 gr grated almonds
50 gr grated dark chocolate
100 gr sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla-flavoured sugar
For the decoration:
white chocolate icing (alternately lemon-flavoured icing)
chocolate flakes (alternately tiny sugar pearls)
How it is made:
* Mix all ingredients, knead them through and let the dough rest in the fridge overnight.
* On the next day, pre-heat oven at 175°C
* Roll out the dough on mixed sugar and flour cca 2-3 mm thick (careful: it's a bit sticky!)
* Cut out little stars.
* Bake them between 15-25 minutes, depending on your oven.
* After they've cooled down, cover them with white chocolate icing and decorate with chocolate flakes.
The stars are very crispy, so you need to make them really thin or else they'd be too hard.
