I love the prompt you posted but don't know if I'll have time to write it as I signed up for the LOTRGFIC challenge. I'm currently biting my nails as it's the last day of voting for their story contest!

I should very much like to write another Ranger story so I will think about it and see if any ideas jump in my head. I get stressed by exchanges as you are obliged to write if you say you will unlike GFIC or Teitho, but I'll have a try as an unofficial story if a good idea comes to me.
You would be most welcome to post your stories on MPPT for future contests and more than welcome to vote in this one as you don't have to join anything.

Oh, an unofficial story would be marvellous, if you felt inclined to write one.
Quite frankly, I don't care if it's an exchange or not - I just wish to make the 10th anniversary of Edhellond a memorable one, even if the group has been clinically dead for a while.

Unfortunately, I haven't got the faintest idea what GFIC or Teitho or MPPT is - you might have realised by now that I'm pretty much an outsider in the Tolkien fandom... or in most other fandoms, actually.

I'll do my best then as I like writing Ranger tales.

Teitho is a contest for stories that mention Aragorn and Legolas. It is great as no one knows who wrote what so everyone 's story is voted for on merit, not because X is my friend but I can't stand Y ect. MPTT (Many Paths to tread) is the website of The LOTR Genfic Group who are hosting the current contest. It is so close, I'm chewing my nails LOL.

You are by way the best Cadfael writer around and I'm enjoying your new LOTR story on SOA.
