School's out, thank God!

Yesterday, school term's officially ended. It was a very hard year, work-wise, sometimes I thought I'd be the one to end first. But it's over now, and even though the heat weave his simultaneously, I'm utterly relieved.

I'm planning to do a lot of writing during the two picowrimo sessions. Hopefully finish the Elfhelm story and make some serious headway with translating "The Sins of the Mother", the third installment of "The Lost Years", my original!Trek/original!BSG x-over series. I'm also planning to post everything I've written so far for the alternate 2nd season of Torchwood, also known as the "Sleeping Dragons" series to FF.Net, and hopefully add at least one more chapter to Episode 3 of that one, "Smiths and Joneses"

With that, plus the long-expected visit to Hamburg to meet songfire3 and hopefully also artemis10002000, summer will be a fast and furious thing, I'm afraid. I'll try to rest a little, too, although they're always too many other things to do.

Yeah, same here! It's such a shame that I have exams in that time. Aaaaalll year to have exams and it has to be in the one week you're in Germany *sigh* But it's just one day so I'm confident we can meet anyway.

Ich hab gerade erfahren, an einem Tag zwischen dem 9. und 13.7. hab ich mündliche Prüfung in Osnabrück. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere war das der Zeitraum, zu dem Du in Hamburg bist, also werden wir unseren Tag nach der Prüfung richten müssen, aber das kriegen wir schon hin!

Congratulations!!! I shall remain buried in work through most of the summer, but I do have a bit of vacation coming up, so if I can bear to look at a computer screen while spending lazy days at home, I am looking forward to your Rohan postings.
