Blood & Ice finished

Today, I've finished the TNG AU. It has 8 chapters for general consumption, two of which have already been posted to FF.Net (see previous entry for the link) and a 9th one that I'm not risking to show anyone but a chosen few, privately. That one wasn't even planned, but, well, my alter ego the Dirty Old Lady felt neglected, seeing that I'm writing mostly genfic in these days, and even that mostly G-rated, and she demanded her due. Giving in was easier than trying to concentrate on something else while these writing impulses were ghosting around in my head.

In any case, it's good to have another project out of my head; I'm reasonably satisfied with the outcome and eager to turn my attention to other stuff that I actually want to write. *g*

Yeah, posting that regulary sounds like a good plan.

Um, but I dunno about posting the first chapter of Director Jones. If you end up getting dumb reviews, wouldn't that be a downer for continuing it?

Most likely. But I intend to post the entire "Sleeping Dragons" series eventually, so sooner or later I'll have to take the risk of upsetting the Gwackers and other Gwennites. After all, I've got the same right to my own opinion as they do. I just have to try and grow a thicker hide...

Yeah, I know. Fat chance that that would ever happen.

Well, to be perfectly honest - no, I don't feel comfortable at all! I usually have the bad luck to attract rude, idiotic reviewers, even if I'm not writing controversial stuff; like showing Gwen as the disgusting Mary Sue that she is.

OTOH, I'd like my stories to reach more people, and let's face it, FF.Net is still the easiest way to do that.
