Date: 2012-04-20 05:41 am (UTC)I think Firefox would be a workable solution for you - it's easy to install and very user friendly! ;) All you have to do is download it, install it (just don't click *yes* when it asks you if you want is as a "default browser"!) and if you need help, pm me! ;)
And completely OT, but do you have a date planned for your visit to my lovely town yet?

Date: 2012-04-20 03:21 pm (UTC)Actually, I do have Firefox on my main PC - and to tell the truth, I absolutely despise it. My old processor seems to find it hard to deal with the demands of Firefox - everything slows down like molasses when I use it, including LJ comments - and I simply don't have the money to get a new one. *sighs*
Besides, it screws up the formatting when I try to post to FF.Net *or* to any of my Yahoo groups, so I'm forced to use the outdated IE6. Which slows things down even more.
As for my visit to your hometown, I don't have an actual date yet. School term ends around July 18 and the new term restarts around August 21, so it should be somewhen in-between. I must see first when I'm supposed to escort the kids to summer camp, which will block another week or two, but since this time we'll most likely travel privately, we'll be more flexible.
I'll PM you in a day or two, I swear, I've already planned, but work hs been so insanely hectic in the recent weeks that I kept forgetting it, I'm very sorry. I'm definitely getting too old for the madness that is this education business.
