Happy Easter, everyone!

These are not the eggs I've coloured, but they're almost as pretty as mine.

Currently just one, showing the whole bunch of them hanging from some branches (I colour and paint empty eggshells, using a different technique). Mine are mostly red, with patterns in black and white and orange, some of them with green. I'll make a few close-ups and post them later.

I've made some pics - will try to put them up by tomorrow. It's a bit complicated, because I can only upload them to my laptop and have to send them to my main PC, but I'll do my best. :)

How lovely! Do you do your eggs with wax and dyes? I've always wanted to try it, but never had the time and money for the equipment at the same time. If these are almost as good as yours, I hope we'll see yours someday!

A belated happy Easter to you and Mum, as well!

No, not with wax. My hand isn't stable enough for that, and besides, that technique only works with eyes that have really white shells. We only get ones with brown shells here.

I dye them with very simple, common dyes, and then paint the designs free hand with a very fine brush.
