wiseheart | Possible absence

My main PC just died on me. I downloaded my mail, then I went to my IJ account, where the PC simply froze. I restarted it, and it told me it can't load Windows because of missing DLLs. So, there might have been a new virus on IJ, which could have been the reason why the site was dead for two days.

It's most likely that the whole thing will have to be reisntalled. *sighs* Which means outside help, since I can't do it myself.

I'm not sure I dare to use my laptop via router, although my colleague who teaches computer science says it can't be infected that way. I'll see what can be done for the main PC and will try to communicate with you guys from my workplace.

Gah, I really, really didn't need this!

Update: My neighbour, who's a computer expert and an all-around nice chap, took the main PC with him to see what can be done to fix it. He also told me that I can go onto the internet all right, so here I am via laptopl, although I won't dare to give IJ another try just yet.
