D-1, and the pre-travel jitters are getting worse :)

We went to the hairdresser's together. After all, we want to make a good first impression, hehehe. Today is also the day of the big, crazy packing. What do we need, what don't we need, how much stuff can I carry alone (as Mum isn't supposed to lift anything heavier than 2 pounds) and so on. Fun, fun, fun.

Mobile bill has arrived, too, after we've come home from paying all the other bills, and the deadline is one day before we'd go home. Oh, joy. Now we'll have to go back to town again. So not good.

I'll update "A Big Fat Torchwood Wedding" within the hour, to give people the chance to catch up with the story. (As if... but hope dies last, doesn't it?) But at least it will be done. Gah, I'm a leeetle bit stressed at the moment.

We've got two umbrellas, wind jackets, two long-sleeved t-shirts and two really warm waistcoats (called polar vests over here), warm trousers... let's hope it's enough. *g*

Thanks. :) I'm moderately devastated, as I haven't found my lucky scarf that I bought in Paris a decade and a half ago, and without which I never go abroad. Mum and I have taken apart the stupid garderobe, but to no end. I'm sure it will resurface at the most unexpected moment - after we've come back, but I feel... naked without it. *is stupid*
