Still trying the waters. Still posting in short snippets. That's all I can do in these days.
The rest is in the comments.

Day 13 – Do you prefer canon or fanon when you write? Has writing fanfic for a fandom changed the way you see some or even all of the original source material?

I'm trying to stay as close to canon as I can, but I don't hesitate to bend it a little if it serves the purpose of my story. Some canon facts I simply ignore - even the original can be stupid at times. Some fanon ideas I find good enough to adopt. Some of mine even got adopted by other writers.

Day 14 – Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you're comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you're writing is G-rated instead?

I've written everything from G to NC-17, if the inner logic of the story demanded it. Or the character's inner nature as I imagine it. And yes, quite a few times the story turned out a lot tamer than insisted, because that was better for plot and characterization. My characters have a tendency to take over all the time.

Day 15 – Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?

I hate warnings. I only use them to prevent the whining of narrow-minded people who tend to throw a tantrum on my review board when their tender sensibilities haven't been taken into consideration. I especially hate homophobes who want to have a warning when a male character smuggles a single flower into the room of another male character (yes, it happened). The strangest warning? PG for heavy poltical troubles. *g*
