30-Day Fanfic Meme - Days 9 & 10

Again, two questions that belong together are answeed in the same post. I find this meme actually very useful - never thought about these things before.
Day 9 – Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?
Oh God, this is going to be a novel in itself! Let's see:
Jossverse: Angel/Spike, Wesley/Tara (yes, I know that one only exists in my warped mind, but it is my fave pairing), Oz/Veruca. I also wrote Angel/Riley, where Riley becomes a vampire.
Tolkienverse: Elladan/Boromir (4evah!!!), Gildor Inglorion/Celebrimbor, Faramir/Éowyn.
Brother Cadfael: Adorable canon pairings here: Hugh Beringar/Aline, Liliwin/Rannilt and on a darker shade, Susanna Aurifaber/Iestyn. My non-canon slash pairing is the late Prince Anarawd and his shieldbrother Cuhelyn.
Stargate: Atlantis: Zelenka/anyone but Sheppard or Weir(d), McKay/anyone but Sheppard or Weir(d), Stackhouse/Markham. (As you can see, the mere idea of Sheppard or Weird with anyone freaks me out. I frigging hate those characters.)
Star Trek Classic: Will Decker/Xon (from the never realized 2nd series). My other pairings are crossovers with Classic BSG, so I don't think they count, but here they are: Uhura/Colonel Tigh, Boomer/Charlene Masters and Sulu/Rigel. (Let's not start me on the epic Kirk/Spock abomination because that makes me sick.)
Classic BSG (the one and only: Again, my pairings are crossovers with Classic Trek - see above. I did write a warped version of Apollo/Serina. I like reading some Apollo/Starbuck, but only from very selected authors, like Anna or Karen.
Babylon 5: Sinclair/his first girlfriend from the pilot, I forgot her name. IMO they were a much better match than with Catherine Sakai. I like to read some Marcus/Neroon, but only in very OOC fanfic, because honestly, I can't stand that arrogant sod (I mean Marcus). And I never for a moment bought the Sheridan/Delenn thing, sorry.
Star Trek: TNG: Very few pairings I could actually buy. O'Brien and his wife, for starters. None of the other ones really survived one episode, so it is hard to buy them. I never shipped Picard/Crusher or Riker/Troi, mostly because I didn't like either of the women or Riker. I could have imagined a wonderful love-hate relationship between Picard and Dr. Pulaski, but the charcter was written out after one season, so...
Star Trek DS9: Again, a hard question. None of the canon pairings did really make sense. I never bought Kira/Odo, especially not after "Children of Time". Kira/Vedek Bareil could have worked, had the screenwriters give Bareil a little more personality. Kai Winn/Dukat-as-a-Bajoran was wonderfully sick and twisted but way outside my comfort zone, and Sisko/Kassidy seemed forced somehow. Dax/Worf was, again, forced and overdone, and loaded with too much Klingon nonsense. The cutest pairing by far was Leeta and Rom. Again, the O'Brien couple worked for me.
Star Trek Voyager: Again, none of the canon couples was done in a believable manner. I write Chakotay/Ensign Wildman in my AU, because honestly, Chak/7 was just ridiculous. So was Paris/Torres. For me, Torres would have worked with Harry Kim, but not with Paris. I read a great lot of Chakotay/Paris, but I don't take that very seriously. Basically, I read it because I love Chakotay.
Space - Above and Beyond: It doesn't really have any lasting canon pairings, and I just can't imagine the main characters with each other, in any combination, with the possible exception of Damphousse/Wong. Who were killed off. They had potential. I did write a DS9 crossover once - well, the outline of it - where McQueen had various affairs with all main characters on DS9, too. It was fun.
New Dr. Who: Now that is a ridiculous affair. Ten's whining after Rose is stomach-churning and completely unbelievable. Ten as a character is completely unbelievable to begin with, and Rose is just a frigging Mary Sue. I could have imagined Jack/Nine, had Nine not been killed off at the end of the 1st season - he and a newly immortal Jack could have had a very interesting relationship, full of tension, misunderstandings and hurt/comfort. Of course, for that, Rose should have been killed. One can dream.
Torchwood: Well, that's easy. Jack/Ianto. Period. Andy Davidson/Tosh would have been cute for a while, although I don't know how long it would have lasted, given that Tosh has the brain of the size of a planet. She'd have needed someone at least vaguely on her level. I loved writing her with Rajesh Singh from TW London. That would have been a fantastic couple. I never bought her pining after a jerk like Owen. I mean, wtf? And don't even let me start on the Gwack. That's just ridiculous and only exists in the perverted mind of the Rustoid.
Queer as Folk, US-version: Michael/Brian, definitely. The Justin thing was the same forced shit as the Gwack. In fact, Justin has a well-established place in the elevated circle of Fictional Characters Whose Guts I Hate, right next to Rose and the Gwenninator. Altough not even Justin is half so disgusting for me as Gwen, and that's saying a lot.
Okay, I'm sure I've forgotten a lot, but considering how many fandoms I read or write, this is the best I can do.
Day 10 – Pairings – Have you ever gone outside your comfort zone and written a pairing you liked, but found you couldn't write, or a pairing you didn't like, and found you could?
Not that I can remember, but it can happen yet. As I said before, I'm trying to keep an open mind.
