Boring domestic stuff

Went to the dentist today. It was more than overdue, but she has her clinic on the other end of the city, and finding a time that fits us both is always a pain in the backside. Haven't seen her since last year, so I was mildly concerned, but no cavities, thank God! She did some maintenance work on both me and Mum, and we're as right as rain for the next half a year or so.

Tomorrow, it's the dermathologist. I ought to see her every three weeks, to get liquid nitrogen sprayed over my face to get rid of the stupid warts. Haven't been there for, what three months? Had an appointment three times; had to cancel every time due to school stuff. Holidays are full with doctors' appointments; at least in summer I can actually realize them. Joy.

Writing doesn't go as it ought to. The muses have apparently grown so used to no time and high pressure that they just sprawl over the sofa and hibernate now. Drat.

Note to self: send wishlist to the_wild_iris, my beloved partner in crime and acquisition!!!

*hugs* Good that you are managing to get things done - just a pity that it uses up your time and energy in the holidays!

Good luck with the writing and hope picowrimo helps you! Hopefully your muses will recover soon.

(I ended up deciding not to participate as I have to finish editing my story for scifibb before the end of the month and so don't want extra deadlines/pressure anything, but I may well try it in November)
