wiseheartI gave "True Blood" a try today, since it was so highly praised on several forums, and I like vampire stories. Well... I didn't even manage to watch the first episode to the end. I'm sorry, but it was deadly boring. Despite what TV-executives might think, soft pr0n (or not-so-soft pr0n) does not a good story make. The human characters were annoying, and Bill the Pony Vampire was stupid and ridiculous. I don't think I'll ever waste my time with another episode of this drivel.
Did some writing during the ten hours spent at school today, though. Written a few pages for the sequel to "Everything Changes" (which will be an alternate version of "Sleepers") about Tom Milligan being hired for TW3. It was very hard work, because I used Harry Sullivan as a 60something Commodore, and his speech patterns are not easy to reproduce. But I managed, somehow. Having printed out every single line of dialogue the character had ever spoken in Doctor Who helped, I guess.
Currently, I'm just writing random bits and pieces for that story, so that I wouldn't forget any ideas I might get. I won't start a new tale before having finished "Eye Witness" (the Tosh/Singh romance) and "A Visitor from Avalon" (TW/Merlin) first.
Other than that, I'm dead on my feet. So what's new?
