There are good news and bad news. Sometimes it's not even that easy to decide which ones are good and which ones are bad.


Got back the first chapter of the Alternate Voyager pilot from my beta today. She's a jewel. And she liked the story. That's the good news. My English grammar still sucks big time. That's the bad news.

Also, someone offered to beta read my Original Trek/BG crossover for me. Didn't have the courage to look up the first part of ch 3 that was just sent to me. A girl can only face that much horror (ie. her own grammar) at a time.

Thank God, this was the last day that I had to drag the kids to summer camp. The last day that I had to stand up at 5:40 for this joyous trip. Tomorrow I can sleep in, make the necessary changes and post (or, in the crossover's case, re-post) the whole stuff.

Oh, and BTW, I've read Archet's drabbles on her LJ today. Really neat little vignettes. I think she writes an Arwen I can like - which is a rarity in the Ardaverse ficdom.

I'll have to check out Archet's drabbles. Arwen's a tough character to do right.

No kidding! I've had my sweet pain with her in Innocence. Interestingly enough, she was less tiring to write in the AUs.
