It's still on a trial run, as there are two or three paragraphs that come too close to the original novel, so I won't be able to post it to FF.Net until those parts are completely rewritten, but I thought I'd offer a sneak peek for those who're interested. The paragraphs in question will be replaced as soon as I've got the brainpower to rewrite them; I just wanted the story to get on the way.
