picowrimo, and I'm very grateful that
altariel encouraged me to join. The people there are funny and inspiring, and I made considerable headway with my "Toshiko in 12th century Japan" story.
Also, I got a wonderful postcard from
ithilwen, from the Grand Canyon. It's so very nice of her!

And it's not a scene to look forward to because it's all fighting and smut, both of which are "struggle for every word" territory for me. Which I had just overcome after the first two and a half days of writing being pure torture, so I'm not eager to go back to it.
