altariel encouraged me to join. The people there are funny and inspiring, and I made considerable headway with my "Toshiko in 12th century Japan" story.
Also, I got a wonderful postcard fromithilwen, from the Grand Canyon. It's so very nice of her!
All in all: autumn break is a noble thing.
