Work vs fun

Gah. I spent 7.5 hours at school together, constantly under the kids, with only a 20-minute lunch break. Yesterday was only slightly better. I'm so brain dead it isn't even funny.

The really annoying part is that I've finally finished the big sea battle chapter of Tosh's story (thank you, the_wild_iris), but haven't had the energy to type it up and post it to the usual places. Considering that it needs to gone to the beta first - yes, I actually have a beta for this one, go figure! - it won't get posted before next week, I'm afraid.

OTOH, I've managed to shock artemis10002000 with very smutty Merlin/Arthur stuff, so the week isn't completely lost. ;)

I think all my brain can take tonight is watching The X-Factor on German TV.

Congrats on getting so much writing done!!! I'm very impressed, even if I know nothing of the original to be able to follow it.

Well, I did most of the writing while on sick leave... and I didn't know the original well enough, either, which is why I had to wait until the_wild_iris organized The Tale of the Heike for me. Medieval Japanese literature is an amazingly alien world I never faced before...
