Farewells

Our old doc has died today. *is sad*

We knew it was only a matter of time, but somehow I still hoped he might pull himself together one last time. On Sunday, he looked reasonably well. :(

The end of a long friendship that lasted thirty-two years and enclosed three generations. The end of an era, in some way.

Thanks. It was indeed a wonderful friendship, and we'll miss him. He was also a link to my grandmother who died fourteen years ago, so he took a big chunk of shared memories with him, too.
