Farewells

Our old doc has died today. *is sad*

We knew it was only a matter of time, but somehow I still hoped he might pull himself together one last time. On Sunday, he looked reasonably well. :(

The end of a long friendship that lasted thirty-two years and enclosed three generations. The end of an era, in some way.

Thanks. It's better for him, he's suffered a great deal, and he still lasted half a year longer than his fellow docs had thought. But we'll miss him a lot.
